Accurate 1099 Filing Without the Year-End Scramble
If your business pays contractors, freelancers, consultants, or other independent workers, you may have 1099 reporting requirements to meet each year.
At Solvency Now, we help small businesses keep their contractor records organized and their 1099 filings accurate and on time. We handle the details so you don’t have to spend your year-end trying to figure out who needs a form, what information is missing, or whether your records are correct.

Our 1099 filing services can include:
- 1099-NEC preparation for qualifying contractor and nonemployee payments
- 1099-MISC preparation for applicable payments
- Contractor payment review to identify payments that may require reporting
- W-9 information management to keep contractor details organized
- Year-end reconciliation to make sure your payment records match your accounting records
- E-filing support for applicable information returns
We work with your existing bookkeeping records to help make the filing process straightforward and minimize last-minute problems.
The 1099 Rules for 2026 Have Changed
The federal reporting threshold for 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC has increased from $600 to $2,000 for payments made in 2026.
That means some contractors who would previously have received a 1099 may no longer meet the reporting threshold.
However, your bookkeeping process still needs to account for the new rules. W-9 information also remains important, and businesses need to make sure their contractor records are complete throughout the year.
We can help make sure your 1099 process reflects the requirements applicable to the tax year you’re reporting.

Don’t Wait Until January
1099 problems are much easier to prevent than they are to fix at year-end.
Missing W-9 information, incorrectly categorized payments, and discrepancies between your accounting records and contractor payments can all create unnecessary work when filing deadlines approach.
Keeping your records organized throughout the year makes the entire process easier.
At Solvency Now, our mission is complete and accurate financial records that give business owners peace of mind. That includes making sure your 1099 reporting is handled correctly and on time.
